Cook Compression announced that Steve Newton has joined the company as Regional Manager for the Middle East. He will be based in Bahrain.

Newton has in-depth knowledge of reciprocating compressor products, with special expertise in valves and regulation controls. He graduated in 1976 from West Wythenshawe Technical College, where he obtained his ONC/HNC in Mechanical Engineering. He worked for Ingersoll-Rand/Dresser-Rand in the UK and France for over 25 years, including six years in the Middle East as Area Sales Manager.

During his career, Newton has served in Aftermarket Sales, Quality Control, Machine Tools, Field Service, Business Development and Product Services.
