Houston, TX (October 1, 2007) – The Gas Equipment Group of Dover Corporation announces the formation of Cook Compression, a single company combining leading gas compression product and service providers.

Cook Compression unites four Dover companies: sealing products specialist C. Lee Cook; compressor valve manufacturer Cook Valve (formerly Cook Manley and Compressor Valve Engineering Limited); compressor products and repair provider Compressor Components Incorporated (CCI); and American Industrial Components (AIC), a manufacturer of engineered, compression-molded thermoplastic and fluoropolymer components. Unifying these interrelated companies results in significant improvements in the way a broad range of products and services are delivered to the gas compression market.
