Houston, TX (March 23, 2010) - Cook Compression announced that Bob Austin joined the company as Product Support Engineer for European Operations. Austin augments the company's application engineering services, which help customers optimize machine reliability and productivity utilizing Cook Compression products and services. Austin is based in the company's Ellesmere Port (Cheshire, UK) manufacturing and service center and will support customers throughout the Cook Compression European Served Area.

"Bob has more than 35 years of experience in condition monitoring of reciprocating and rotating machinery, including service with leading machinery monitoring equipment manufacturers and a major compressor manufacturer," said Dean Lewis, Managing Director of Cook Compression European Operations.

"Cook Compression offers extensive technical support to customers through reliability studies and recommendations for improving utilization of their machinery assets. Bob's expertise is a significant advantage as we expand awareness of these services and deliver practical solutions to our customers."
